More than half of all business travel Buyers in the UK predict that they will travel more in the coming year than in 2015
ITM and ATM Corporate Travel conducted a research questioning travel managers about business travel in the year 2016, the results bode well for the tourism and hospitality industry.
When the managers were asked for their predictions for the year 2016, 53 percent of them said that they think their employees are going do more travelling next year.
The study, which took the opinion of 36 senior travel buyers into account, resulted in around 80 percent of buyers being almost absolutely confident about the expected increase in revenue from business travel in 2016.
However, while the study shows an expected rise in travel expenditure, more than 50% of travel buyers are trying to reduce the costs next year.
MD Adam Knights of ATPI Group UK said that their research has positive predictions for business travellers in the coming year.
ATPI Group announced in July that it was expanding its partnership with International SOS, a travel security company. Knights also said that those in professional services are planning for the long term as far as business travel is concerned, despite the fact that there will be many changes and opportunities. The UK economy is recovering at a steady pace, and more and more employees are placing increased value on travel.
